AI BI Blunders: the first time
The first comic. So much work for a (possible) small laugh.
AI BI Blunders. This is the first comic to appear in the SQLBI Newsletter, in a section called AI BI Blunders. We never commented on the comics section, other than asking for a thumbs up or down in the first newsletters. Once we realized the vast majority of newsletter readers liked it, we decided to keep the comics section in every newsletter and remove the voting section. We spent many days trying to get an acceptable result; we discarded many drafts, and keeping the text readable was one of the major challenges.
Was the joke fun? The idea was that the AI decided to invest in Bitcoin, generating more profit than the company’s actual business. The real message was that the AI generated the comic.
